Simon and I managed to sneak away for 24 hours to our favourite music festival, Shambhala. The Fractal Forest: Thank you grandparents for child support, thanks Al for the festival support, and thank you rain for lowering fire hazard and giving Simon a few days...

SAND, and lots of it!! In downtown Revy, as you can see, it is deep, deep sand under all the houses. It makes for very sturdy foundations (ours; 80+ years old and no cracks) but tough for digging. One scoop out, half falls back in. So the foundation pit is pretty big...
