I celebrated my 50th trip around the sun with a big party themed “Out of this World”. The response was outstanding. We were joined by friends and family from the last 25 years of my life. So many people went over and above in their creative costume ideas. We really are like kids inside, given the chance.
We celebrated with a wonderful potluck dinner, topped with my favourite cake made by our friend, Josée, baker extraordinaire. Following was an amazing percussion-included oration by Simon’s dad and I was presented with the Key to the Galaxy! So much fun! Simon and his life-long guitar buddy, Marc Wild, got everyone dancing with some funky beats into the wee hours.
