The exodus

July24

We have been here at the hospital for about 5 weeks. In that time frame we have already seen quite a few people come and go. The latest, and greatest, exodus happened yesterday. Three families left, totalling 10 people, so it seems a lot quieter around here now. Most people leave when their visa expires, a few leave for other reasons. Some positive and some negative. We try not to dwell on the negative thoughts of some of the patients. Some of them have not seen the cure they came here for. Some of them were not comfortable in this environment. Simon reminds me that we have each other, a happy family of four and that no matter where we are or what it is like where we are living we will always be surrounded by the positive energy that envelops each of us. Life is what you make of it, and we are experiencing it on a daily basis, no matter what our outcome may be. And we have you, our friends and family to keep us strong in our hearts, and we thank you for this.

You keep up the positive energy, that is all there really is. We send so much your way it us undoubtedly making it through the forests, pollution, people, and miles between us. Much love to you and yours. I love this blog!! Thank you for sharing. Rory and I went to China Sichuan/Yunnan province and it is such a nice walk down memory lane to see your stories. Hi Family, It looks like the chinese do things in groups, (at the restaurant and at the hairdressers) Pretty funny stuff. How is the language coming? Is Roseta Stone helping? I’m sure the girls are like sponges…
Pauline, I am very curious about your treatments, what you do and how often. How do you feel? You look great!
Emily and Maddy, Liam misses you and he wishes HE could go to China.
Hey Simon, not much of a fire season to date, you’re not missing much.
We are all wishing you well. Thanks for the blog and pictures!

Hi Pauline, Simon, Emily and Madeleine,

What a nice way to see how the family life is so important. Way to go Pauline, life is so precious indeed. We face in our life challenges and we take them one by one. The most important thing is always stay together and love each other and writting to us to update us.

Just wanted to tell you not because we were not taking the time to write to you, but the funny computer is so sensetive I do not know to what it crashes every few days, anyway hope you will get our message.

Emily and Maddy every few days I go on the computer and look at the pictures taken by Simon and I watch you and talk to you on distance. I really enjoyed every moment I spent with you and I bought the Princesses DVD and when I am alone I watch it and think about you.

Pauline, I am praying every day for you, I am lighting every night the Virgin Mary for you and for sure a lot of people are looking over you, keep your spirituality and your positive thinking you are doing the right things and god is looking over you and I love you.

Simon, you are always in our mind Jacques talks alot about you guys and I kept on my screen saver our dinner together. You are a good husband and a good papa and god is looking over you and my adopted grand children from an Egyptian mom.

Love you guys from all my heart and god bless you all.

    Nadine

Merci beaucoup Nadine et Jacques. Vous êtes souvent dans nos pensées. Les filles aiment vraiment regarder les vidéos chez vous; lorsque Nadine tressé les cheveux et le tour ‘6-wheeler’ avec Jacques.
