Emily has had a grand 11th birthday season. She celebrated the actual date on March 30 at Harry Potter World in Florida. Mexican cake that night. She and her sister both celebrated their birthdays at Grandma Shirl’s in Toronto on April 3. Ice-cream cake that night. A week later there was a group birthday celebration in Vancouver at her grandparent’s place. Cupcakes that night. Culminating with a day swinging through the trees with 2 friends on June 30, exactly 3 months after the real date.
Skytrek is 20 minutes from Revelstoke and great fun for kids. Emily has been big enough for 2 years to go on the adults ropes course, which runs 30-50 feet in the air – not for the faint hearted!
And afterward, cupcakes again, this time decorated by themselves.
