We did get out to the ski area together as a family once this year. Great views from the gondola.
I was reluctant to try sit skiing again on the mono ski, but was fortunately able to try out a dual ski model. I am very lucky that, just this year, the new Revelstoke Adaptive Skiing Association was formed and I am now able to ski whenever I like. I waited for a nice warm sunny afternoon and had a great time on the run named ‘Wooley Bully’. It was a long way down for my first day and my arms were punched by the bottom. It was great to actually be turning and balancing on my own, I just had a little help slowing down. Thanks tons to Fiona, my instructor/guide, and Dana who helped on the faceplants. 🙂
