We are in the middle of our fundraising efforts for our project to bring Habitat for Humanity to Revelstoke. A dance and silent auction was held, it was well attended and many people went home with some beautiful items that had been generously donated. I love this soapstone and antler carving from Iqualuit brought down by one of our Northern nursing friends.
The music was fantastic! Simon played for 4 hours; first with the Sofa Kings of Revelstoke, and later with Vancouver pals Marc Wild and Isabelle and Mark of Combine the Victorious.

The girls decorated the sidewalk out front with this artwork and also a series of multi-coloured directional arrows along the sidewalk for a block in each direction, to make sure everyone knew which way to go.
