So the day after Emily and Simon went skiing, we all went just south of Revelstoke to ‘the flats’, by the Columbia River… a very COLD Columbia River. That didn’t stop our kids:
It was a nice day by the water.
This area was forest and farmland at the turn of the last century. There are some BIG stumps lying around. The area has been flooded by dams near Revelstoke and all this is underwater except from April to June each year.
